Living in Kosovo
The embassy staff are here to help British citizens visiting or living in Kosovo.
The British Embassy in Pristina, does not provide notarial services. We do provide assistance and advice on a wide range of issues, visit people in prison and hospital, and so on. We don't provide a service which allows you to register a birth, marriage or death. Nor can legalise - ie officially stamp - documents. However, you can apply for various notarial services at the British Embassy in Skopje.
British Nationals abroad are entitled to the same consular assistance as other British nationals in the UK.
Dual Nationals are entitled to formal consular protection if they entered Kosovo on their British passport. If they came in on the passport of their second nationality, you should normally refer to that country’s embassy.
